Imagination Carnival (11x17)
Following their own work related to Joan Miro’s ideas, students began this piece by creating a field of color in the background with acrylic paints.  Then, throughout the piece, various organic shapes were added with India ink.  These shapes were then given more purpose and detail through the addition of oil pastels onto them.
