Variations on a Rose (12x18)
Following a study on Andy Warhol, students chose a popular object, drew it, and traced it in glue.  This template was then put under a larger sheet of paper and rubbed with a crayon in order to create identical images.  Each of these images was then carefully filled in using oil pastels.  Finally, the background around each object was painted different colors using tempera paints.
